GOOD FIRE
“Good Fire” explores how fire shapes us and how we shape it. This series was inspired by many years of hiking across the western United States and navigating the feelings that come from watching wildlife—and myself—adapt to the consequences of longer and hotter fire seasons.
These pieces were created during the summer of 2025 and were featured in a solo exhibit at Antler Gallery in Portland, Oregon. You can browse available pieces on the gallery’s website.
COMPANION BOOK
After much research and personal experience with fire over the years, I felt it was important to share some of the inspiration, science, and personal narratives behind these paintings.
I wrote a mini eBook to accompany this series! You can view or download your free 42 page PDF file by clicking the cover image below.
