Jenn Joslin | Wildlife Conservation Art & Illustration

Through visual art deeply rooted in place-based regional ecology, her work explores the rich biodiversity of the Pacific Northwest to invite informed, heartfelt kinship with the wildlife and public lands we depend on. Her emotive paintings of birds and other native wildlife reflect on contemporary ecologic issues like habitat destruction and human-wildlife interactions, meditating on the complex, intertwining stories we are all part of.

While we are living through an era marked by human-driven resource exploitation and mass extinction, Jenn's work is a testament to the fact that there is still endless opportunity to discover, respect, and protect what's left of the wild. Grounded in the belief that emotional connection to nature is essential to meaningful environmental change, she asks us to rewild our hearts by learning to live in reciprocity with the natural world.

Jenn is a self-taught artist with a background in environmental education. She received her bachelor of science degree in Conservation Biology but has learned most of what she knows from constantly being outside, regularly hiking and birding with her senior pup Charlie. They have taken over 500 hikes together since 2017.
