Hello! Thank you for considering getting a custom design created for you or a loved one this holiday season. Each year I like to offer affordable original artwork at reduced prices to help art be accessible for everyone.
This page outlines my process for fulfilling commission requests. I know the design process can seem confusing from an outside perspective, so I’ve compiled some handy info that will bring you into the loop.
Consider which of these common options best suits your needs, then fill out the Google form at the bottom of this page to get the process rolling.

1. PRICING
5”x7”: $95 $65
8”x10” $115 $85
9”x12” $155 $125

2. MATERIALS
All commissions are drawn or painted on professional grade cotton watercolor paper with high quality pigments. Materials are non-toxic, vegan, acid-free, and archival to ensure the work lasts a lifetime (and beyond). If you are interested in a work on canvas, board, or another substrate, please email me directly with your project idea.
If you have a preference between a grayscale pencil rendering on paper or a full-color painting on either paper, canvas, or board, please specify.
3. SUBJECT MATTER
I specialize in bird & wildlife portraits, including plants and fungi, as well as pet portraits. I also take on landscape painting of your most loved wild places. If it’s in nature, I’ll probably feel comfortable taking it on!
Note: more complex subject matter, such as snakes or pieces with numerous species, will incur an extra charge to compensate for research, time, and materials.
4. PROCESS
Payment in full for custom commissions is due before work begins. An agreement and invoice will be emailed to you, or your may make your purchase through this secure link via my online shop. Payment reserves your spot in the queue.

The process for custom work typically takes about 2 weeks from start to finish, not including shipping time. However, this timeframe may extend up to 4 weeks during the busy holiday season. The earlier you submit your request, the better! Once work is completed it will be shipped out within 2 business days.
