I have loved working with graphite since I was a kid, doodling all over my notebooks during class with a simple yellow HB pencil. Love affair aside, graphite can be quite a frustrating medium when you go beyond the doodling stage, but learning to paint with it has revolutionized my work flow.

Over the past few months I have had the privilege of watching a book come to life–and seeing my name published in the pages of it. Whew!

Hiking means getting outside for a good long walk wherever and whenever we can. No worries about steps, miles, or elevation. Just enjoying being outside, discovering amazing things.

In the meantime, there are always small joys in the connections we make with nature, with creativity, and with our truest selves. 

To live in kinship with nature is to be renewed, reshaped, reborn over and over again, living in reciprocity within this vast web of life we are inescapably part of.
